Vice President Hussain Mohamed Latheef departed for New York this evening to participate in the High-level Week of the 81st session of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA 81).
During his visit, the Vice President is scheduled to deliver statements at high-level meetings and engage in bilateral and multilateral discussions.
He will also attend the opening of the General Debate and other receptions on the sidelines.
The Vice President is expected to conclude his official visit and return to Malé on Saturday, 26 September 2026.
