One person was injured last night after two motorcycles collided on the Sinamale' Bridge.
Police said that they received the report of the incident around 2:00 in the morning. They said that the crash happened when a motorcycle traveling from Hulhumale' to Malé on the bridge collided with a motorcycle that had stopped on the bridge because of heavy rain.
Police reported that the rider who collided with the stationary vehicle was injured in the accident and identified the motorist as a 30-year-old local man.
They further said that the man was rushed to the state-run IGMH and that he had sustained injuries to his legs.
Police added that they were further investigating the case.
