This year's Secondary School Certificate, SSC, and IGSE exams have kicked off across the country today.
The Secondary School Certificate (SSC) exam in the Maldives is a national end-of-Grade 10 assessment that students take alongside their Cambridge O-Level or IGCSE examinations.
A total of 8,111 students are sitting for their end-of-Grade 10 exams this year, including 7,776 students taking the SSC exams.
Today, the students sat for their SSC Dhivehi Paper One, with Paper Two scheduled for tomorrow and Islam Papers scheduled for later this week.
The nationwide exams will run till the 12th of November.
The Ministry has set up numerous exam centers across the country, including 25 centers in the capital, Malé. It has also set up 242 Exam Centers in the inner islands.
