Fahi Dhiriulhunn Corporation, FDC, has initiated internal discussions to enhance security at its residential flats in Hulhumale' Phase 2.
The Managing Director of FDC, Hamdan Shakeel, said via X that under the guidance of President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu, the Corporation would be taking additional security measures at the 'Aman Udhares' and 'Aman Dhoadhi' towers in Phase 2.
He said that the units where children and people with special needs live will be identified separately, and services will be arranged with the highest priority.
The MD added that Immediate measures are being taken to ensure the safety and security of all residents living in the towers.
This announcement comes in a week in which two minors fell from residential buildings in Hulhumale' Phase 2. Earlier in the week, a 16-year-old girl fell from the 3rd floor of a building. In a more tragic event, a toddler died after she fell from the 16th floor of one of the towers of the Stelco flats.
