Local media have reported that a 2-year-old child succumbed to injuries sustained after the child fell from one of the Stelco Housing Towers in Hulhumale' Phase 2.
Reports said that the toddler was rushed to Hulhumale' Hospital immediately after the fall. However, the media cited the Hospital to report that the child was declared dead on arrival at the hospital.
The child fell from the 12th floor of the housing tower.
No other information has been shared about the incident, as authorities are yet to make any comments about the tragedy.
Yesterday, a 16-year-old girl fell from the 3rd floor of the Aman Dhoadhi flats in Hulhumale'. The girl was also rushed to the hospital for treatment. Police are further investigating the case.
