The Hulhumale' Hospital has denied allegations made on social media against one of its staff members, labeling them 'baseless accusations'.
The Hospital said in a statement that the allegations circulating on social media have been brought to its attention and that, based on the information it received, some of the information being spread is untrue.
The hospital stated that all services provided are prioritized to maintain patient safety, dignity, personal independence and trust. Any concerns raised by patients will be treated as extremely serious and appropriate action will be taken within the framework of established policies and legislation.
The Hospital urged all parties not to spread unconfirmed information and assured that, as a state institution, the hospital will continue to maintain patient confidentiality and the highest professional standards.
